Saint Hilaire: our products certified “Origine France Garantie” Founded in 1947, the Saint Hilaire Group has been involved in the production of mineral materials for 75 years. Our range includes in particular calcium carbonates, aggregates and industrial limestone sands, fillers for concrete, quicklime, slaked lime… Each of these materials is produced from our industrial site located in the town of Trept. To promote the group's productions, the "Origine France Garantie" certification process was launched in 2021. This certification demonstrates our group's desire to strengthen and develop its industrial policy in France.

Indeed, as a family business with a long-term vision, we regularly invest in our production sites to modernize our tools and better meet the needs of our customers. These massive investments allow us to develop a wide range of technical and sustainable solutions for various fields of activity.

Our solutions thus respond to different uses in several sectors of activity:

  •  construction (building and public works),
  • agriculture,
  • industry,
  • animal feed,
  • the environment…

In the field of construction, for example, we offer suitable solutions for creating technical and sustainable infrastructures. For this sector of activity, our range of mineral materials includes in particular micronized fillers, slaked and quicklime, sands, aggregates and calcium carbonates, etc. The majority of Saint Hilaire products have the “Origine France Garantie” label. This labeling is easily identifiable by the “Origine France Garantie” logo present on the technical sheet of each product that we offer.

The objectives and guarantees of the “Origine France Garantie” label

Created in June 2010, the “Origine France Garantie” certification is the initiative of an association of business leaders, who work in a collective approach to promote “produce in France”. This distinctive label aims in particular to promote local industrial and artisanal know-how. For this, its implementation is based on two main objectives:

  • provide clear and precise information to the consumer regarding the French origin of labeled items,
  • make known the companies that offer French-made items.

Contrary to the mentions “Made in France”, “Designed in France” or “Made in France” which are self-declared formulas, this certification really certifies the French origin of the articles of artisanal or industrial production. It is indisputable and applies to all areas of activity. It is awarded on the basis of two mandatory cumulative criteria. To obtain it, 50 to 100% of the unit cost price must be French. In addition, the product concerned must take on its essential characteristics on French territory.

“Origine France Garantie” certification: for our customers ?

Obtaining this certification is a real asset and a considerable advantage for our customers. Indeed, the presence of the label on our technical sheets allows our customers to have transparent and reliable information on the traceability of our products. This gives them the opportunity to make a conscious and responsible choice about the origin of the different products we offer. They can thus promote local know-how and production.

Through this label, the Saint-Hilaire Group guarantees a lower environmental impact and a stronger territorial anchorage, in the service of safeguarding jobs and French know-how.
